If you are new to Pittsburgh, what should you do when you need to go to the pharmacy?
You should:
- Use Google Maps to find a pharmacy in your neighborhood / near you
- Ask family, friends and neighbors to help you find a pharmacy
- Bring your prescription from the doctor
- Research names of medicine
- Talk to the pharmacy assistant
- If you don't have a prescription, tell your symptoms to the pharmacy assistant and ask what medicine you need

- What medicine is good for my symptoms?

- Will my insurance cover this medicine? (for prescription medication)
- How long do I need to take this medicine?
- When and where can I get the COVID vaccine?
- Do I need to get a COVID test?
- Could you fill my prescription?
- Could you refill my prescription?
- Could you advise me about vitamins / supplements?
